Thank you for choosing Bid66. This page contains our terms and conditions for using this site. When placing bids at Bid66.com, also referred to as our site or Bid66 , you are stating that you agree to these terms. You must be 18 years old or older to participate on the Bid66.com site.

 

Auction Policy

You are limited to 3 wins per day. The stated retail price is an estimated selling price of the product from our suppliers. This does not mean that you cannot find an item for a lower price; this is the average price Bid66 pays for the product. Bid pack purchases are non-refundable. Bid66 reserves the right to ban or disqualify any user without refunding bid packs or product purchase amounts for any of the following reasons:

 

 

 

 

 

Bids only become valid when they enter Bid66's database and our system registers the bid. Please note that the bids are not valid from when they are purchased from the user’s computer. Usually, it takes approximately one to two seconds for the bid to become valid, but on some occasions, it may take longer. Bid66 takes no responsibility for this delay and its consequences, as it is out of our control. Bid66 is not responsible for technical problems prior to reaching the Bid66 website or losses due to Internet delays while bidding. Please keep these conditions in mind, if you choose to wait until the last second to bid.

 

 

 

Auctions

 

 

An auction is finished when no new bids have been placed and the timer reaches zero. Every auction has a countdown timer, which shows how much bid time in whole seconds remains from the time the latest bid was placed. The countdown timer is continually synchronized with Bid66's servers, as long as the user's connection allows this. Bid66 cannot be held responsible for interruptions in the user's connection and the errors that may arise due to this. This includes, but is not limited to, the timer counting down incorrectly and out of date information about the bidder and bid. Bid66 reserves the right to pause all auctions when we suspect operational disturbances or unfair practices by users. Bid66 reserves the right to change the bid time during ongoing, open or closed auctions for any reason.

 

 

 

Paying for a Won Auctions

 

 

A winning bid is binding. Binding contracts arise between Bid66 and the bidder who is the approved winner of the auction. After the auction is finished, it is Bid66's responsibility to contact the winner of the auction within 24 hours and to send an invoice. It is the winner’s responsibility to pay the invoice within 7 days. When the winning bidder does not pay Bid66, the winning bid is canceled.

Bid66 is not responsible for any technical error that may occur between the user and the payment processor. If an error occurs in a transaction, it is the responsibility of the user to inform Bid66 immediately and make other payment arrangements, or forfeit the winning auction. Bid66 does not allow purchased bids to be canceled or refunded; doing so will result in an immediate and permanent ban from the site, unless a suitable solution has been worked out between Bid66 and the user.

 

 

 

 

Order Processing and Delivery

 

 

Products are ordered within 7 business days of cleared user payment. Bid66 is not responsible for any delays of product delivery caused by a subcontractor, the shipping company or other suppliers. In rare instances, a product auctioned at Bid66 may become out of stock or discontinued without notice from the subcontractor. In such cases, Bid66 has the right to replace the product with a similar product of an equal value or to exchange the product for its value in bids. The winner may only request to receive bids for the amount the item was won for, not retail value of the item. Bid66 may provide an estimated delivery date and/or tracking number, if available from our suppliers.

 

 

 

 

 

Chat Room Rules

 

 

 

Chat room rules are as follows:

Violation of any of the chat room rules posted above can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the chat room and in extreme instances, a permanent ban from the Bid66 web site. Chat room rules may be added to and/or updated at any time without prior warning and these changes are effective as soon as they are posted here.

 

 

 

Liability

 

Bid66 reserves the right to postpone dates and times of auction beginnings and endings after unforeseen operational disturbances. Included are errors in the Internet connection to the server, unauthorized access to computer systems, service interruptions at the supplier and any other disturbances. Bid66 is not responsible for any overload of the website and any arising consequences thereof. Bid66 is not responsible for damage or error in our or other computer equipment and/or programs that may affect participation in the auctions. Bid66 is not responsible for changes in legislation that may affect the user’s ability to participate on our site.

 

 

 

Reserves

 

Bid66 does not have reserves on any auction.

 

 

 

Compensation Claims

 

 

Bid66 is not a retailer of the products which are auctioned off and therefore, is not responsible for guarantees and compensation claims. For compensation claims and guarantees, the auction winner is referred to the retailer. Products damaged during shipping are not the responsibility of Bid66. If a product is damaged during shipping, Bid66 will supply the information needed for the user to contact the subcontractor for a replacement of the product.

 

 

 

Disputes and Applicable Law

 

 

United States law is applicable to these Terms, as it is applied to contracts which have been agreed upon in United States. Disputes regarding validity, interpretation, or applicability of these Terms and out of those originating legal relations shall be settled by a common court in United States.

 

 

 

 

Hacking

 

Hacking into our system to gain free bids or products will result in a permanent ban from the site. Hacking is illegal and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent the law allows.

 

 

 

 

Threats

 

The Bid66 Team tries to cater to all of our customers needs. We try to do the right thing at all times and we will not tolerate any threatening behavior from our customers. Such action is just cause for termination from Bid66.

 

 

 

Abuse of Terms

 

Abuse of these general terms will lead to auction annulment and/or the user being barred from further participation on the Bid66 site.

 

 

 

 

Changing Terms

 

Bid66 reserves the right to change these terms during ongoing bidding. New terms will take effect immediately upon being posted here, without prior warning of such changes.
